The Department for Education funding would be paid to Schools in January and Colleges in February.
£16,000 per Primary School
£42,000 per Secondary School and
£290,000 for Colleges
From April 2023, mainstream schools will be allocated additional funding through the mainstream schools additional grant (MSAG).
The DfE helpfully provided a methodology to help local authorities understand their share of the £2 billion, but they will be publishing indications of school-level allocations in the spring.
